The Race of the Santas and Lighting of Breckenridge 2012
Kick off the 2012 Holiday Season by joining the festivities at The Race of the Santas and The Lighting of Breckenridge on December 1st! At 4:00pm, check out Breckenridge’s Second Annual Race of the Santas – Cheer on the Santas as they lace up their running shoes and dash down Main Street in Breckenridge for a great cause to benefit Adopt an Angel. The Race of the Santas is an all ages event, those who want to race can enter with their own Santa suit for $10 or buy one for $30. The Lighting of Breckenridge begins with hot cocoa and cookies at the Red, White, and Blue Firestation at 4:30pm followed by
Santa’s arrival at 4:45pm to begin a joyous procession down Main Street concluding with the lighting of the Breckenridge Town Tree at 5:30pm in the Blue River Plaza. Children can visit Santa at the Barney Ford Museum from 5:30 to 7:00pm.
