Mardi Gras 2013 in Breckenridge Colorado kicks off in style on Saturday, February 9th with the annual Mardi Gras Ball. Breckenridge’s Mardi Gras Ball is being held at Beaver Run Resort from 6-10pm. This evening of fun will include dancing, New Orleans style cuisine, cash bar, crowning of the Rex and Queen and entertainment by Brazilian Samba Dancers! At the Mardi Gras Ball in Breckenridge Colorado you can come dressed in Summit County casual or go all out with a Mardi Gras costume, it is up to you. Jump start your Fat Tuesday celebration on Breckenridge’s Main Street for the annual Mardi Gras Parade at 4:30pm. Catch a glimpse of the festive floats, grab a few beads and wave to the Rex and Queen. After the Mardi Gras Parade visit one of Breckenridge’s many restaurants for a bite before continuing the evening of festivities at the local bars who will most certainly have Mardi Gras specials.
