23rd Annual Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Championship 2013

23rd Annual Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Championship 2013The 23rd annual Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Championship for 2013 runs January 22 – February 3, 2013.  The Snow Sculptures can be viewed around the Riverwalk Center just off of Breckenridge’s Main Street.  While in-town viewing the snow sculptures you can also visit the snow sculpture headquarters at the Riverwalk Center.  There you can learn about the process of creating snow sculptures, view the last 20 years of the competition, answer trivia questions and more.

23rd Annual Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Championship 2013 Schedule:

January 14 – 18 — Snow stomping week, catch a glimpse of how the blocks of snow are built or even volunteer to help create them by calling, 970.547.3100.

January 22 – 26 — Sculpting Week, starting at 11am on the 22nd until 10am on the 26th artists and their teams will be on-site day and night creating their magical works of art.

January 26 – February 3 — Viewing week, after all the work is done the spectacular Snow Sculptures will be left intact (weather dependent) for the entire week.  Stop by and view the winners, although all of them our winners in our book (have you ever tried sculpting a pile of snow?).
